This year is the 101st Annual Old Town Clovis Rodeo Parade and we couldn’t be anymore full of pride for our city. Living in this town, we have become accustomed to saying “it’s a small world” – we all seem to find connections to those around us through mutual friends and family. The Clovis rodeo parade is the perfect example of how diverse yet united Clovis can truly be.

Starting at 9:30am on Saturday April 25th and lasting about 2 hours, tens of thousands of people will gather in the streets of Old Town to see the over-200 parade entrants. Featured will be several different categories which will include many organizations, schools, youth groups, businesses and even old-fashioned western riders. All making a short but intensely celebratory journey along the roads of Old Town Clovis – up Pollasky to Third Street then down Clovis back to the Rodeo Grounds.

That same Saturday afternoon at 2pm will be the eagerly-awaited Rodeo Performance ($20 for reserved seating). Last but not least for Saturday the 25th at 7:30pm will be the Clovis Rodeo Dance for those of you 21+ ($10 ticket). That may be the last event of the day but that is certainly not the end of it! On Sunday April 26th at 11:45am is the Special Kids Rodeo in association with Break the Barriers, so come out to the rodeo grounds and show your support!

Later on Sunday the 26th at 2pm will be the Final Rodeo Performance ($20 reserved seating) so make sure to stick around after the Special Kids Rodeo. If you’re ready to get started on your Rodeo weekend this Friday, April 24th then head on over to the PRCA Rodeo performance and Frankie Ballard concert at 5:30pm, $30 reserved seating that includes both the Rodeo performance and the concert (concert immediately follows the Rodeo performance).
