This weekend is the 102nd Annual Old Town Clovis Rodeo Parade & Performance and it is highly anticipated, as it is every year. If you take a stroll around Old Town about now, you’d likely see cowboy attire; and not just at Sassano’s! A united community is a beautiful thing, and this time of year is where we really get to see everyone come together and get back to our Clovis roots. Forget the 9 to 5, ditch the pant suit, slip on those leather boots and come on out to Clovis’ most iconic event.

Today, April 21st, is the Professional Bull Riders Touring Pro Division starting at 6:30pm with the Jerrod Niemann concert following immediately after.

Tomorrow, Friday the 22nd, will be the Rodeo Performance at 5:30pm with the LOCASH concert to follow.

On Saturday, April 23rd, there will be the 102nd Rodeo Parade, beginning at 9:30am, lasting about 2 hours, including tens of thousands of people gathering in the streets of Old Town to see the over 150+ parade entrants. Featured will be several different organizations, schools, youth groups, businesses and even old-fashioned western riders. All making a short but intensely celebratory journey along the roads of Old Town Clovis – up Pollasky to Third Street then down Clovis back to the Rodeo Grounds. Following the Rodeo Parade, there will be another Rodeo Performance at 2pm, the Rodeo After Party to follow and then the Clovis Rodeo Dance.

The rodeo ends on Sunday, April 24th, with one last Rodeo Performance at 2pm.
