Can you believe it? 25 years ago a group of forward thinking individuals here in Old Town put together a Farmers Market, something small that grew into the wonderful Market we have today! Going strong with 30 Farmers, hand made crafts, delicious things to eat, entertainment to dance to and fun for the kids!
May 9th marks the beginning of our Season – a much anticipated date for locals and Old Town merchants. We will start the Season with a KSEE Concert – 51 Aces, a Central California Rock Band. There are many returning vendors – your favorites including Paloutzian Farms, Shasky Farms, Sumner Peck and Benzler Farms. Local restaurants, Corner Cafe, Salsas and Bobby Salazars will be serving their delicious fare out on Fourth Street also. There is always a wide variety of fresh produce, honey, eggs, juice, cheese and milk! This year we have IKT Beef returning, and RawFresno providing “raw”, organic, gluten free items for the first time this Season!
Our Kids Zone will be filled with fun for the little ones! The Ponies will be back again this year, along with the bounce house and slide, Wow Balls and glitter tattoos! Sweeties Cotton Candy will be serving the sweetest treats in town for little one and big ones to get sticky with! Moms and Dads will be happy to find Country Baby Diaper Service in the Kids Zone with changing stations, and a cool, quiet area for breastfeeding mommas – as well as their cloth diapers for sale.
It is going to be an amazing year for the Farmers Market and we hope that you will help us celebrate our 25th anniversary by supporting the hard work of the farmers and other vendors who have loyally been serving Old Town Clovis for so many years.
