The Antiques and Collectibles Fair will be held on March 20th, 2016 from 8:00am-3:00pm here in the heart of Old Town Clovis. Come early to catch all the excitement and good deals that this event has to offer. Take a stroll down memory lane and see what’s in store for you as 90+ vendors line the streets of Old Town to entice you with their very best!
This is a great chance to incorporate a little bit of past childhood memories with present ones. Once on the streets of Old Town Clovis you will begin to uncover an array of items that will fit your lifestyle. Some of the items that you will discover at the Antiques and Collectibles Fair include books and magazines from past generations, military memorabilia, children’s toys, clocks, glassware, jewelry, home accents and so much more! It is a great way to include some of the past into your present life. This event has something for everyone and taking the time to find that special something always is a great way to start your day.
The beginning of the year is also a great time to change up your style and turn something outdated into something modern! DIY projects are a great way to turn old items into new ones. Dressing up old pieces with vibrant cheerful colors has shown to promote healthy optimistic perceptions on one’s lifestyle. It’s possible to change anything, turn antique spoons into beautiful butterfly brooches, turn teapots into bird feeders, turn old bottles into mosquito shaped ornaments, or change the appearance of antique tables into modern ones. Turning something old into something new is what it’s all about!
Special guest Kathy Osterberg Sobelman will be there to appraise those hidden treasures that you may have lying around and that you may want to resell one day. She will be available from the hours of 9:00am to 11:00am and will return from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Her vast expertise in the field of appraisals allows her to thoroughly explain the origin of these items and you will certainly walk away knowing something new about the item you brought in. Items are limited to one per person.
Enjoy your time here in Old Town Clovis as you enjoy the benefit of free admission and parking, great food and the opportunity to walk away with something new. This event will go on come rain or shine.
