Mid-Century, Vintage, Upcycled and Shabby!

The Spring Antiques & Collectibles Fair has a little something for everyone! We recently expanded our rules to include painted furniture, due to high demand. Antiques dealers are finding that painted furniture is selling much better than plain wood. Mid-Century furniture is having a big resurgence also, partially due to the return of minimal design, and partially to pure nostalgia! Like most antiques, the simplicity of Mid-Century design reminds people of their childhood.

This show is growing by leaps and bounds. Only four years ago we had a total of 65 vendors – this year we are boasting over 100! Vendors are seeing the potential in this show, with great crowds who have a discerning eye for their antiques and collectibles. Younger generations are interested in conversation pieces – globes, cameras and typewriters to name a few – and this show has plenty to choose from!

Kathy Osterberg, who recently appeared on Central Valley Today with our Executive Director, Carole Lester, will be at the Information Booth from 9 am to 11 am, and from 1 pm to 3 pm. Kathy will be providing free appraisals during this time so it’s a great opportunity to either bring a family heirloom or to make sure what you purchased at the show was a good investment! You will leave with a little history and value of your piece.

Join us this Sunday, March 20th, 2016, from 8 am to 3 pm, it’s shaping  up to be a great day! For more information contact B.O.O.T. at (559) 298-5774.
