ArtHop Revamp and Call to Artists
Old Town Clovis is in the process of recruiting artists for our newly revamped ArtHop! Starting up May 12 through September 29, 2017, we will be holding ArtHop weekly on Friday nights throughout our seasonal Farmers Market. Artists will have the opportunity to showcase their work over a period of 21 nights on the streets of Old Town Clovis, which hosts 5,000 to 10,000 customers each week during the market.
While our Farmers Market has been around for 28 years, we have only been hosting ArtHop for 5 years. Over this time we have learned a LOT and are making changes to our format and footprint. We will be working hand in hand with our marketing agency, Archer & Hound, to promote ArtHop in social media and in the press. We have moved our ArtHop area to Fourth Street to put artists in the center of all the activity and are working to bring in entertainment and specialty/gourmet food, as well as seating for customers. We are excited about these changes and know that they can only bring positive energy to our weekly ArtHop!
We have multiple options for those interested in participating. Artists fees are as follows:
- Five nights for $35
- Ten nights for $50
- All 21 nights for $100
This is a flat fee – no commission fees are charged. We will provide the 13’x13′ space and artists will need to provide their own pop-up and set up. Please feel free to fill out an application here, or for more information contact our office at (559) 298-5774. Please note that the ArtHop is almost filled! Please contact the office before submitting payment to find out if there are spaces available.
