Carriage rides and more!
It’s our favorite time of year here in Old Town. It might still be 60 degrees, but we’re wearing our heavy jackets and woolly scarves, turning on the fireplace and humming our favorite holiday tunes! Thanksgiving is just around the corner and we are quickly heading into the Holiday Season. In Old Town that means it’s time for our complimentary Horse Drawn Carriage rides!
Starting on Friday, November 24th, 2017 and running every Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4pm through December 24th, the carriages will be rambling down the streets of Old Town. You can catch the carriage in front of the Educational Employees Credit Union on Pollasky between Fourth and Fifth Streets. Santa will also be available for photos on those days. The rides are free of charge and take about 15 minutes.
Please note that the lines can sometimes be long for carriage rides. This is the perfect time to get in some holiday shopping! Have someone in your party stand in line and take turns popping into the nearby shops! Remember to eat, shop, spend and enjoy LOCAL this season.
Thank you to our sponsors who make the carriage rides possible: the Educational Employees Credit Union, Good Ol’ Days Antiques, Ron Silva Realty, Dave Shivers State Farm Agent, The Foundry Collective, Frost Oak Creek Creations, Clovis Rodeo Association and Clovis Veterans Memorial District. We truly appreciate their support in making this activity possible in our community.
