Clovis Children’s Electric Christmas Parade this weekend!

In Old Town Clovis we LOVE Christmas! The street lamps get their shiny decorations, the stores put up their twinkle lights, and Santa comes down direct from the North Pole to talk with the local kids! What’s not to love?

On Saturday, December 6th, 2014, at 6:30 pm Clovis will bring back a favorite community event – the Children’s Electric Christmas Parade! Hosted by the Old Town Clovis Kiwanis Club, you can expect to see beautiful floats decorated and lighted for the holidays, local marching bands, decorated cars, equestrians and more!

If you come to Old Town early you can hitch a ride on one of the free horse drawn carriages which run from 1 to 4pm every weekend. Santa can also be found on the porch of The Old Hotel Bistro during this time if you’d like to bring your little ones for photos. There are also face painters available. This is also a great opportunity to get some holiday shopping in! Come early, claim your spots, and browse the multitude of antique stores and boutiques that Old Town has to offer. Many shops are having a Holiday Open House on Saturday as well!

From all of us in Old Town, we wish you and yours a very happy holiday!
