Cora Shipley, Clovis Chamber Professional Woman of the Year
At the January 26th annual meeting of the Clovis Chamber, Cora received the award from last year’s recipients, owners Nykole and Terry Hibbs, mother and daughter team of Dinner My Way.
Cora is owner of Hearts Delight and Scoops, Soups & More. Before starting her own antique store in old town more than 20 years ago, Cora managed a mortgage company. Since those “corporate” days she has owned a business in Old Town, evolving from an antique store to a gift shop and later purchasing the ice cream store. Many of us know Cora as an active board member, and current President, of the Business Organization of Old.
The Business Organization of Old Town is happy that Cora was honored by the Chamber! Cora and her family spend most of their hours in Old Town running their businesses and making Old Town what it is today so Cora is a perfect recipient of this award. All of us in Old Town are grateful for her time, energy, and ongoing belief that Old Town Clovis is a great place to live and run a business!
