CBC Postcard Back Summer 2017

Hot August Daze . . . that perhaps should be the name of our August 27th Craft Beer Crawl! Currently predicted to be 103 but the good news is most all of our breweries are inside merchant stores so you can cool off while sipping a brew! Then when you get cold you can visit 411 Broadway (Fresno) and Bird Street Brewing (Lemoore) on Centennial Plaza and the San Joaquin Worthogs at Illuminate Hair Salon featuring 6-8 Home Brewers. . . these two locations anchor our event on the North and South end of Pollasky. In between you will find Temblor Brewing (Bakersfield), Tioga-Sequoia, Three Monkeys, Riley’s (serving their hard root beer floats), Zack’s Brewing, Tactical Ops, Zone 9 (formerly Two Dudes), Mad Duck Brewing, and Full Circle Brewing.

We are very proud of our event in that all beer is brought by the Breweries (not obtained via donations) and all served by the Brewery owners/reps or brewmasters — not volunteers. This assures you that you can talk directly to the people making the beer and ask questions and discuss nuances! You can throw around some cool words such as Zymrugy and Wort and Lace and of course the endless talk about Hops!

Learn from home brewers of the San Joaquin Worthogs about the hobby of brewing beer and sample their home made brews—many of these home brewers are launching their own tap rooms and breweries.

Locavoria and Yosemite Concessions will provide food for purchase, and our restaurants will be open throughout the day. Music will fill the streets – provided by Brian Smart and Country Outlaws.

We thank our sponsors:
• Goode Ol’ Days Antiques for the commemorative tasting glass (and be sure to check out their “man cave” window at the corner of 5th and Clovis Avenue!);
• Clawson Motor Sports for their support and bringing out some special vehicles for you to oooh and aw over
• Hedrick’s Chevrolet who sponsors the entertainment.
Our Benefactor, Pink Heals, Guardian of the Ribbon will be on hand with the pink fire truck and police car. We have supported this grass roots group over the years helping them provide much needed support, both financially and emotionally, for those touched by cancer. If you need help this is a great group of people to talk to.

We look forward to seeing you in Old Town this Sunday 2 – 5:30 PM.

Tickets available by clicking this link;
or at these fine businesses in Old Town: Fifth Street Antiques, Hearts Delight and Dave Shivers State Farm, all located on Pollasky Avenue.
