Farmers Market Update
Six more Farmers Markets at the time of this writing! It’s been a good season—started out really well with huge crowds all through May and June and then, of course, we hit the hot weather! We have had several nights over 100 degrees. Loyal fans continue to come and we are grateful for that!
You may have heard some rumblings about the food trucks coming to the Farmers Market. We chose our biggest crowd nights and invited a couple of the trucks to come down and be a part of ArtHop, another new element we added this year. We did this in hopes of attracting a new crowd who would not otherwise come to Old Town Clovis. It’s too early to tell but if you see new customers this fall and they tell you they discovered Old Town when they followed the food trucks to our Farmers Market, we’d love to hear from you. We are always looking at ways to attract people to our little town and also build a younger audience so that businesses can continue to thrive. Your suggestions are always welcome.
