Glorious Junk Days continues to grow
Glorious Junk Days over Memorial Day Weekend was very well attended and we topped 143 dealers! This show is growing in leaps and bounds. Interested dealers need to send in their applications quickly for the October 5, 2013 show, as spaces will be selling out. Please visit our website at OldTownClovis.org/events/vendors and look for the applications.
One of the best features of these events is the free appraisals offered by Kathy Osterberg-Sobelman starting at 9am to 11am and from 1pm to 3pm at our Information booth, located near 433 Pollasky Avenue. Bring your one item for a free appraisal! This is a great opportunity to have an item you value checked out to see if it has “worth” beyond a sentimental value! Kathy will tell you the history of your item and is a walking encyclopedia! Don’t miss this great experience!
You can also visit with Vicki Shoemaker, 3 Oaks Studios owner, who demonstrates DIY projects using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. There are many great uses for Chalk Paint (not to be confused with the black paint you can write on!) Vicki is located next to the information booth during our shows and has a wealth of information on repainting and refurbishing furniture into something beautiful!
