Happy Birthday Clovis! 100 Years Old!
The City of Clovis turned 100 years old on February 27th. A birthday party was thrown for invited guests and the public to celebrate with A Taste of Clovis (16 participating restaurants) and entertainment and exhibits. The popular saloon where Diego from Michaelangelos’ served up his winning cocktail, the Pollasky Popper was the place to be!
We’ll report more on the happenings of the Clovis Centennial Birthday Bash in next month’s newsletter. It was a fun night!
Winners of the Taste of Clovis:
Celebrity Judges pick was Panne Ponto who served a grilled salmon over spring lettuce with a mango salsa.
The People’s Choice Award went to QN4U who served up pulled pork sandwiches, bacon wrapped wienies and mac & cheese!
The restaurants outdid themselves in serving up the samples to the Passport holders!
