Veterans Home Gallo Property

Heart of the Horse Therapy Ranch has been granted a home for Disabled Veterans on the Gallo Wine property in Fresno at Fowler and Clinton. This home will be specified for a new program called “The Heart of the Horse Veterans Equine Therapy Services”.

This will be the future home of ten veterans from the VA Hospital in Fresno who will benefit from Equine Therapy. They will also provide veterans with job placement services in ag-based apprentice jobs. They hope to help veterans learn a trade that will keep them in the Central Valley. As the program grows they also hope to open other homes and provide other opportunities for job training and placement.

The home on Fowler and Clinton is a great property although it needs a lot of help! The outside is in good shape, but parts of the inside were set on fire by vandals. Heart of the Horse Therapy Ranch is looking for volunteers, monetary donations, and donations of hay, grain and vet visits. They really believe that this will be a “feather in the cap of the Central Valley! There are homes for vets to live in, but we want a home for Veterans to THRIVE in!”
