Horse-drawn Carriage Rides in Old Town Clovis

Join us in Old Town Clovis for our traditional horse-drawn carriage rides!  Every Saturday and Sunday from Thanksgiving through December 23rd, 1 – 4 PM.  Rides are complements of our sponsors:  Educational Employees Credit Union, Good Ol’ Days Antiques, Clovis Veterans Memorial District, Dreamscape Pools, Clovis Rodeo Association and the Business Organization of Old Town.

Rides are provided by Granite Pass Carriage Rides out of Prather and the horses are beautiful black Percherons and an antique carriage decorated for the holidays—those of us here in Old Town look forward to hearing the “sleigh” bells on the street!

    1. Only on the night of One Enchanted Evening which always takes place the Thursday night before Thanksgiving.

Sometimes there are carriage rides in the “Cindy Lane Neighborhood” near Peach and Alluvial but it is not every night. I’m trying to get a schedule of those rides and if I do I’ll post it here!

  1. The carriage rides down Cindy Lane are done by a teacher at my school and her husband. She books private parties for the rides only.

    1. The carriage starts and finishes at 4th and Pollasky, in front of Victoria Rose Restaurant. And that’s where you’ll find Santa on the porch on Saturdays and Sundays. We are offering the carriage rides on Friday, December 21st, as well (sorry, Santa will be in his workshop that day).

We are hoping the weather stays dry on Saturday and Sunday. If it’s really pouring the carriage is cancelled; if it’s just sprinkling the rides are on. You can check-in on our Facebook Page (Old Town Clovis) and we’ll keep you informed if there is a cancellation.

Merry Christmas and thank you for supporting Old Town Clovis!

    1. Yes, I believe that Granite Ridge Carriage Company is the one that provides rides for Cindy Lane. You can contact them at 559-855-4480.

  2. Hearts N Tails is available for private carriage and wagon rides valley wide. We can do your holiday party or give private rides through your favorite neighborhood. The carriage is a great choice for a romantic ride or smaller groups, the carriages are able to hold 2-4 people. The wagons are great for larger party’s, being able to hold 12-18 people. We will be running from thanksgiving weekend through the first of the year for the Christmas season. Contact us today to book your next event David Cantrell 559-361-5865, Danny Cantrell 559-361-6830. Check us out on facebook at Hearts N Tails.
