Old Town Clovis Saturday Morning Year-Round Farmers Market
After taking last Saturday off the growers will return to the Old DMV Parking lot (625 Pollasky Avenue) Saturday, December 6th from 8-11:30 AM. They will be there every Saturday in December and January except the Saturday after Christmas and the Saturday after New Years.
Please look for the Market to move around a bit starting on December 13th. Construction begins on the new Centennial Plaza and the Market may need to move around the parking lot or go onto the street while construction progresses into April 2015. Look for the signs pointing to the location from Clovis Avenue and Pollasky at 5th Street. Pretty soon we’ll stop referring to the Old DMV Parking Lot and call it Old Town Clovis Centennial Plaza!
This Market has everything you need for your week’s cooking! Top o’ the Morn has bottled milk including strawberry, chocolate, rootbeer and other flavors! Smiling Oranges is back with citrus and orange juice (starting December 13th) and they carry chicken and duck eggs, as well as honey. Trevino Family Farms has a variety of vegetables, dried herbs, lavender sea salt, luffas, gourds, raisins, along with chicken, duck and turkey eggs! Shasky Farms carries seasonal fruit and shelled red and regular walnuts, almonds and a variety of dried and flavored almonds. Tasty Cow has individually wrapped grass fed beef–ground beef, shanks, steaks, roasts etc. G. T. Florists and Herbs has a beautiful assortment of greens, seasonal veggies, herbs and flowers–everything you need for a pot of soup! Ferrer Farms offers seasonal fruits and vegetables. Farmer and the Dale is our certified organic grower with seasonal fruit, raisins and great pomegranate juice! We will be welcoming back Jammin’ Jams after the holidays and will be adding vendors as needed. In the meantime, please come out to support our Farmers Market and while you’re here enjoy a day in Old Town Clovis!
Through Sunday, December 21st we offer complementary horse-drawn carriage rides from 1-4 on Saturdays and Sundays. Thank you to our sponsors who make the carriage rides possible: the Educational Employees Credit Union, Hedrick’s Chevrolet, Good Ol’ Days Antiques, Clovis Rodeo Association and Clovis Veterans Memorial District. We truly appreciate their support in making this activity possible in our community.
