Old Town Clovis Wine Walk – October 13

September 25, 2012 | Categories: Event Updates, Events, Wine Walk |

The fall Wine Walk tickets are on sale now!  Available online at www.oldtownclovis.org, also available at Hearts Delight and Bear Creek Gifts in Old Town and at Dave Shivers State Farm at the Barnyard Shopping Center just south of Barstow off of Clovis Avenue.

Merchants have signed up and wineries are nearly finalized!  Fall is always a beautiful time of year in Old Town Clovis so we are all looking forward to showing off our great community!

Our sponsors are all set:  First California Federal Credit Union will provide the commemorative wine glass; Constellation Wines and Mission Bell Winery join us and are providing wines for the event!  We are very grateful for our sponsor participation!

Pink Heals and Mighty Moms Foundation will benefit from the sales of T-shirts and pink pumpkins the night of the Wine Walk!  Yes, they are truly pink!  The pumpkins will be available at the Wine Walk and at The Patch located at Herndon and Clovis at the Trading Post shopping center.  The Pink Heals National Tour comes to the Central Valley on September 26 and 27 and will be visiting Old Town at Fire Station No. 1 on September 26th from 11AM – 12:30PM.

The Clovis Fire Department donated a local truck for the local chapter of Pink Heals, and it’s been painted pink and has been making stops around the Fresno/Clovis area for over a year now.  It will be at the Wine Walk where people can sign their names, the names of loved ones, in hope, memoriam and support.

Old Town Clovis Kiwanis is partnering with B.O.O.T. and will benefit from the proceeds of the wine walk for the Children’s Electric Light Christmas Parade and a donation to the Clovis Senior Center will be made as well.  The remaining proceeds benefit promotions for Old Town throughout the holidays.

Please spread the word about the Wine Walk and where to get tickets.  We have posters and postcards for businesses—if you don’t have these yet, please let the B.O.O.T. office know.

If you purchase online: In lieu of tickets your name will be placed on a a will call list at check-in at 4th and Pollasky.

  1. Where exactly do we pick up our wine glass and tickets? I purchased tickets through the website and have a printed receipt but we are not sure exactly where do start.

    1. Hi Krystal,

Welcome to the Old Town Clovis Wine Walk!

Online purchasers don’t actually receive tickets but they are placed on a will-call list so all you have to do is come to 4th and Pollasky (near the museum) and we will look you up by name. Once that’s confirmed you’ll receive a wrist band, commemorative wine glass and a “punch” card with a map to direct you.

We look forward to seeing you Saturday!

Carole Lester, Ex. Director of B.O.O.T.

  2. I am a college student at Fresno City studying Photography and my upcoming assignment is capturing general news. I would like to come to the event and snap some pictures. If possible would i have to purchase a ticket?

  3. This is my first time attending and just read where one is given a punch card..what does that mean exactly and is there food samples from our local restaurants ?
