One Enchanted Evening is just around the corner!
Packets will be coming out the first part of November to sign up for our very special kick-off to the holiday season.
If you need help putting lights up on your building, please give the B.O.O.T. office a call (298.5774) or email Carole at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will have Adrian Galvan contact you. Adrian helped several merchants out last year. We don’t want anyone getting hurt on a ladder for the sake of decorating for the holidays!
We are in the process of getting the posters and post cards into your stores. Call the B.O.O.T. office if you have not heard from us. Applications for One Enchanted Evening Participating Merchants will be emailed shortly. We hope everyone signs up and participates! (You must be a member of B.O.O.T. and the campaign for 2013 Membership starts in November). We have a one-block street closure on Pollasky between 4th and 5th and we will be offering free carriage rides, with two carriages. Bank of the Sierra is our sponsor and they will be on the street serving up their now famous hot chocolate! Bank of the Sierra has been sponsoring this event since 2009. Vintage cars will line the streets and carolers will provide the music backdrop to a great evening of window shopping! This also launches the campaign to shop local! We encourage shoppers to support local businesses and recycle, reclaim, repurpose at our plentiful antique stores.
Complimentary Horse Drawn Carriage Rides will be provided on weekends from November 24 to December 23rd. We are looking for sponsors from our local businesses to help finance the carriage rides this year. If you would be interested in having your business name and/or logo on the Carriage Banner, please call the office. Two sizes, $500 for a large logo/name and $250 for a smaller version. People love coming to Old Town to take the carriage ride through town. Help us keep this tradition alive!
